This week P5 having been learning about how rockets get into space. We learnt about Newton’s third law of motion, that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and how rocket propellant produces a large enough force to enable rockets make it into space. 🌎🪐🌞
P5 tested this theory out for themselves by making their own paper rockets and bottle rockets using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. They may not have made it as far as outer space, but there was lots of fun and STEM learning along the way 🚀👨🔬
