The P5 classes in St Joseph's and Glasswater had a fantastic forest school experience at Spa Woods today 🌿
They had with a bug hunt 🪲 🐛 🦋 Some free adventurous free play in the mud kitchen, on the tight ropes, swings, slides and in the digging area Then they worked in teams to build waterproof (or not so waterproof) dens ⛺ 💦
Next, they made some beautiful artwork using the natural ink found in flowers and leaves by hammering them onto pieces of fabric, and made some beautiful clay pieces such as bugs, animals and floral bowls 🌺🌿🌼🪻🌱
Finally, we finished off our day in the forest with some yummy marshmallows and smores, toasted over the firepit but the children themselves 🔥 😋
