P4 have had a busy few weeks, starting into adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers and practicing this skill using counter, blocks and coins.
We learned all about how to stay safe on the roads now that the hour has changed and the evenings are getting darker. The children created lots of wonderful high-visibility coats to help them be seen at night 🌃
We joined in with Michael Rosen for a special online food poetry workshop, worked together to come up with some sensory adjectives to describe spaghetti, before writing some fantastic spaghetti poems. 🍝
And we have started into our new carousel of ABL activities - creating lego animals; performing dramas inspired by books the children have read; using Adobe to create hybrid animals; small world safari and creating junk art animals. 🦁🐯🙉
