💙‘Morning Greeters’ / ‘An Fhoireann Fháiltithe’ 💛
This week we had a special group of Morning Greeters – ‘An Fhoireann Fháiltithe’. Each morning, a group of enthusiastic pupils stood at the school door to welcome everyone arriving with a friendly “Maidin mhaith!” or “Dia duit!”. Their goal was to encourage pupils, parents and guardians to greet them back in Irish.
The response was fantastic! It was lovely to hear so much Irish being spoken at the school gates each day. The pupils really embraced their role and helped create a warm, positive and festive atmosphere.
A huge well done to all the boys and girls who took part. You represented our school brilliantly and helped make the Irish language part of our everyday routine in such a joyful way.
Go raibh maith agat gach duine! ☘️💚
