Internet Safety Assemblies

6th Feb 2026

Today all our pupils took part in Internet Safety Assemblies to support Safer Internet Day and to help develop responsible and confident online behaviours.

Our KS1 assembly focused on voice control technology. Pupils learned how devices like smart speakers and tablets respond to voice commands, how to use them safely, and why it’s important to ask an adult for help when using technology. They enjoyed exploring how voice‑activated tools work and discussed ways to keep personal information private.

Our KS2 assembly explored the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Pupils learned how AI is used in everyday life, the benefits it can bring, and the importance of thinking critically when interacting with online content. We also discussed how to stay safe, make sensible choices, and understand the difference between real and generated information.

Both sessions encouraged thoughtful discussions and helped our pupils develop the skills they need to stay safe and make smart decisions online. We were very proud of how engaged and reflective they were throughout.
