Fire Safety assembly
On Tuesday afternoon, the whole school enjoyed a Fire Safety assembly with our amazing Classroom Assistant Mrs Caughey who is a part time fire fighter alongside her partner. Together they told us about the different types of firefighters and why they wear different uniforms.
The fire fighters also spoke to the children about fire safety. It was really fascinating as the children learned all about keeping themselves, as well as their families safe, by spotting things in our houses that could cause a fire and what to do in case of an emergency. Lots of questions were asked and several children are now eager to become fire fighters!
Thank you again to Mrs Caughey and her partner for taking the time to take our Fire Safety assembly.
