Easter Message
Dear Parent/Carer
The last few weeks have been extremely busy as we adjust to new ways of living, or should I say coping! All of us have had to adapt and find different ways of working, learning and being able to stay connected with friends and family. What we once considered normal 'school life' has changed dramatically as a result; our daily routines are no longer the same and instead of enjoying a day in school with our classmates and colleagues we are turning on our laptops and doing what we can to maintain some form of normality.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout this time, it has been very much appreciated by all the staff. I know this has not been an easy transition for any of us, however I am very thankful to everyone, children, parents/carers and staff alike for the very positive and supportive way everyone has approached the challenges we have faced. It has really inspiring to see how many are connecting to online learning and working so hard. You as parents have been doing an amazing job helping the boys and girls with this and we are truly grateful. I am extremely proud of how our whole school community has pulled together to ensure we continue to do the best we can for our children throughout this crisis.
As from today and over the Easter period we are taking a break from our Home Learning; hopefully this will give us all a chance to unwind and relax as best we can. Unfortunately, we are unable to do the usual activities we might have enjoyed during other holidays.
We have missed the children greatly, seeing their smiling faces and hearing all their news. I wish you all a very peaceful Easter with your family and hope that you stay safe. We will be back again on Monday 20th April to continue our Home Learning and look forward to reconnecting with everyone again then.
Take care of each other and God Bless
