Today, our school was bursting with colour, creativity, and a love of reading as we celebrated World Book Day! ✨
We began the morning with a costume parade 👗🧙♂️🛡️, where pupils and staff arrived dressed as their favourite book characters. The imagination on display was fantastic from classic storybook heroes to modern favourites!
Throughout the day, classes enjoyed shared reading sessions 🤝📖. Older and younger pupils paired up to read together, sparking wonderful discussions and building excitement around stories. Everyone then gathered in the hall for a lively World Book Day Quiz 🧠. Teams worked brilliantly together, answering questions about authors, characters, and well‑known stories.
