We were delighted to welcome Glasswater P5/6 to St Joseph’s P6 this week as part of our Shared Education programme. The children worked together with artist Martina to begin creating a special mural for each school.
Pupils explored symbols that are meaningful to them and their school community. They sketched their ideas and then used printmaking techniques to transfer their artwork onto colourful paper. The creativity on display was amazing!
We’re already looking forward to our next session with Martina, when we’ll bring all of our prints together and finish our murals. 🎨✨
