Primary 5 had a fantastic practical maths session today, taking part in a wide range of hands‑on division activities. Pupils worked with sharing cards, grouping tasks, Lego bricks, counters, and mini whiteboards to deepen their understanding of division.
Throughout the session, the class explored equal sharing, practised making equal groups, and used reasoning cards to explain and compare their answers. They even tackled exact division, choosing totals and using counters to check whether numbers could be divided fairly.
The pupils demonstrated brilliant teamwork, wonderful enthusiasm, and confident problem‑solving skills from start to finish.
