P3 had great fun in science this week exploring how popcorn pops!
The children watched closely as the kernels heated up, listened for the first pop, and learned that each kernel contains a tiny drop of water. When it heats, the water turns to steam, the pressure builds… and POP! it bursts open.
The class made brilliant predictions, observed the changes carefully, and enjoyed seeing science in action — with a small taste of popcorn at the end!
