Mission Statement

The full staff of St Joseph’s will serve the Crossgar community and its surrounding areas through the provision of a caring and effective Catholic Education which will enable children to maximise their potential for their whole development- Academic, Religious, Personal and Social.

Sports Day

sports day_250On Sunday 6th June St Joseph's P.S. held their Annual Sports/Fun Day.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable day with everyone havin fun.  The programme of races ran smoothly with everyone enjoying the Tug of War and sack race in particular.  Congratulations to all the children who participated and to those lucky enough to win some medals.  it was all about having fun and the children certainly seemed to have fostered this attitude.

There was lots going on besides the races.  Many parents volunteered to ensure the children had a good time.  The many activities and stalls included: a barbecue, chocolate fountain, throw the sponge, a bouncy castle, candy floss, a Gooey Box, penalty shoot out and much more.  The most popular event however proved to be the Bucking Bronco with many parents and children challenging each other to see who could last the longest.  It was thanks to the wonderful ethos and team spirit that exists in St Joseph's that the Sports/Fun Day once again proved to be a huge success.  Well done everyone!
