Halloween

On Thursday 27th October St Joseph's hosted a Fancy Dress halloween disco.  A large crowd of ghosts, ghouls, mummies and vanpires packed the hall for a great night.  The children danced along with special guest Scooby Doo throughout the night.  There was an exhibition of how to dance during the dance off for boys and girls.  "Delilah Boyle" winning the girls and Finn winning the boys contest.  The best costumes were extremely difficult to choose as there were so many great ideas and so much effort put into them.  However the winners were Susie and Tiernan for Lady Gaga and a werewolf in the P1 to P4 category.  The P5 to P7 category was won by Marge Simpson and the Mad Hatter aka Rebecca and Caolan.  The Halloween draw also took place during the evening with Peter B Kelly winning the halloween Hamper. 

A big thank you to all the parents and children for the effort they put into the costumes, to the PTA for running the disco, to Mrs McLachlan for organising the draw and Ms Dainty and Ms Ellis for their donations.
