Mission Statement

The full staff of St Joseph’s will serve the Crossgar community and its surrounding areas through the provision of a caring and effective Catholic Education which will enable children to maximise their potential for their whole development- Academic, Religious, Personal and Social.

First Communion

communion250Primary 4 had a wonderful day at First Communion on 15th May.  Ms Dorrian and the children had prepared feverishly for the big day and it really paid off.  The boys and girls read perfectly, sang sweetly, responded loudly and behaved reverently.  I am sure their parents were just as proud of them as the school were, it was a beautiful service.  Thank you also has to go to Mrs McArdle, Dr Ellis and the choir who turned out in numbers and sang so well.

A large number of people came back to St Joseph’s PS afterwards and enjoyed scones and pastries.  The boys and girls were able to get their photograph taken before leaving to have a day out with their families.  Thank you to all who donated their time or pastries for this event it all added to a wonderful occasion for everybody!
